This versatile shelter can also be used just like a conventional umbrella, due to Velcro fasteners which allow the storm sides to be rolled up. The main flat back style umbrella unit provides you with a wide span of over 6ft, which increases even more when the whole shelter is staked out. The umbrella section features a long telescopic centre pole, which can be unscrewed and relocated in a secondary vertical position, providing even more room underneath. When the storm sides are brought into play the shelter becomes very stable, even in the roughest of conditions, providing enough room for a small bed chair - handy for those occasional overnight stays. (The upper section of the centre pole can be removed if needed, to gain even more space - after the shelter has been fully staked out). Other features include swivel storm caps, welded seams, cam locking storm poles and bungee tension straps.
